A Prayer for Troops Serving Overseas — Operation Epic Fury

Heavenly Father,

We lift up the more than 170,000 U.S. service members stationed overseas, including 40,000–50,000 currently in the Middle East, and especially those now engaged in Operation Epic Fury. Surround them with Your peace, strength, and protection in every moment of their service.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

"Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God…"

"Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle."

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you…"(Isaiah 41:10)

"If God is for us, who can be against us?"

Protect their minds, bodies, and souls. Guard their hearts from fear and despair. May they walk with courage and honor, trusting You with every step. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

To all serving in the military, veterans, and your family members and friends: on behalf of a grateful nation, thank you for your service and sacrifices. Stay safe, stay strong, and know you are in America's thoughts and prayers. Godspeed! 🇺🇸
